About Mady
Mady Lykeridou was born in Athens and since 2002 she has been living in Milos. She is a graduate of Photography and Audiovisual Arts of the Athens University of Applied Sciences, and of the Department of Conservation of Antiquities and Works of Art of the Vocational Senior High School, and she holds a PADI diploma for underwater photography
After graduation she worked in Paris focusing mainly on artist portraits and street photography. She travelled to Europe and Alexandria in Egypt, where she worked with a science team of archaeological submarine excavations. Her work has been featured in solo and group exhibitions and published in magazines and travel guides. In the shelter of Adamas is presented her permanent solo exhibition “Gimme Shelter”. She is a member of LensCulture.
Through her lens she experiences the transformative experience of the image, exploring the world, time and light.
